Luminescent glass behaves differently than iridescent glass — here's how to get the best results:

• Coated side down on kiln-washed fiber shelf: the coating intensifies beautifully.
• Coated side down on shelf paper: still intense, with a slightly different character.
• Coated side up: fire no higher than 1,410°F — coating holds on darker colors, fades gracefully on lighter ones, leaving a luminous sheen.
• Covered with clear glass: the luminescent coating fades completely for a clean, polished look.
