One of the best aspects of making custom precut stained glass shapes is the conversations I get to have with artists I wouldn’t have met otherwise!  In most cases someone anonymously reaches out from the internet with only specifications: size, shape, color, texture, opacity…and as I’m making their glass shapes as requested, I get all sorts of images in my head about how these might be used.  For example, I wonder, “Why do they need 22 translucent and 3 opaque circles at 2 inches, and one at 1.365 inch?”  Hmmmm curiosity!
